Opening for EuCAPT volunteer organiser

The European Consortium for Astroparticle Theory (EuCAPT) aims to promote and coordinate research in astroparticle theory in Europe. The consortium is now looking to fill its first position for a volunteer organiser.

The volunteer organiser will work alongside members of the EuCAPT steering committee, and will primarily be contributing to the development and management of EuCAPTs online presence.
The position is on a volunteer basis, with no renumeration. EuCAPT organisers gain valuable organisational experience, and networking opportunities. The recruited organiser will feature by name and photo on the EuCAPT website, and will be invited to attend the EuCAPT Annual Symposium, travel costs covered.
The ideal candidate for this position is a PhD student or postdoc (within astroparticle theory and based in Europe) interested in contributing to the development of EuCAPT. Experience in website development and management is a plus.
Appointment is initially for one year, but can be extended. The expected time commitment is a few hours per week.
